    • Mini Grant Idea
      • Jane will draft an application for a mini grant – if they earn the grant, they will use the technology to implement their curriculum unit but they will need to share it with others in the building. Include a questions like:
        • How will this technology enhance your curriculum unit?
        • How will this technology be useful for other teachers and students in the building?

    • Laptops on Grade 6 Cart have bad batteries. Jane just heard from Bill that the batteries are not covered under warranty. Sydney offered to take 6 of them and swap them for 6 of her Writing Center laptops.

    • Sydney has both of the new ones from the MP grant; she uses one with her SMART Board and she gave one to Max for Amy Finsmith to use – Max will store it in his locking cabinet
    • From what we can figure out, there should be 5 data projectors from grant purchases
      • We could use 2 per grade level; it would be helpful to have a few data carts (Jane will ask Bill to check the prices)
      • Jane will order or look into the price of:
        • An Elmo or document camera
        • Mimios
        • SMART Software that could be used with Mimios

  • Wireless Network Issues
    • Sometimes kids are having difficulty. Make sure that WPSED is the only wireless network in the Preferred Networks list. Amy York is the expert on troubleshooting the wireless network. Perhaps we should create a “cheat sheet” showing how to do this.
    • Jane will ask Bill to check on where the Linksys router is in the building. The team thinks it may be at the Christian school across the street.
